It’s not Pakistan, AAP corners Centre for terming Budget 2019 ‘second surgical strike’

New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack at the BJP-led Centre for terming the 2019 interim Budget as the second surgical strike, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on Saturday, said that the government should refrain from using such phrases as “it is India, not Pakistan”.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh, while speaking, questioned the Central Government over the farm loan waiver and said that giving Rs 17 per day to farmers cannot be considered as a surgical strike.

Soon after the announcement, Congress president Rahul Gandhi took a dig at the Centre and said that giving only Rs 17 per day to farmers was an “insult”.
